AUTUMN BRIANNE!

She's here! Autumn Brianne was born on November 10th at 11:38am. It was a crazy morning. My water broke at 5:40am. We woke the girls up to go to the hospital, they were dazed and confused until we told them the baby was coming then they really got excited! Grandma Keeley met us at the hospital and watched the girls for the day, and they had so much fun! It was a crazy labor and delivery. The doctor and nurse think that my placenta had started to tear away and so there was a lot of blood and they were thinking that a c-section might need to happen. That was scary! For the first hour we were there the nurse was explaining the procedure for an emergency c-section. But things changed and it worked out that we didn't have to go that route. But because of the situation I had to stay in the bed the entire time. Brian ended up being demoted from leg holder to counter. He nearly fainted 3 times! My mom, who got to be there gave Brian a good tease about it! When Autumn was born she ended up swallowing some blood and she had her umbilical chord wrapped twice around her neck. They had to bring the NICU team to suction her and help her breathing at first. Let me tell you that was scary! All I could think was that she was going to have to be admitted to the NICU like Lily and Cloey. But, we were very blessed and I was very relieved to see them leave and Autumn stay in the room! She weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 19 1/2 inches long! She is our biggest baby! It was a whole different experience getting to keep her in my room. It was great! We had lots of loving family visit. Thank you to all who helped us out. For all the family who watched the girls so Brian and I could get some rest, and to all who brought us yummy meals!  Here are some pictures of our beautiful baby girl!

Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year, it was nice to have Brian with us! Last year he was in Florida for work. The girls got to dress up twice this year, we had a dress up chili feed with our ward and then the big night! The girls had a lot of fun at the chili feed, they got to do a cake walk and win treats. Lily was Ariel and Cloey was Snow White. I found some red hair spray dye and Lily thought it was the coolest thing ever to look just like the little mermaid. On Halloween night, Lily stayed the same and Cloey decided she wanted to be Cinderella instead. We went trick or treating in our neighborhood first and then headed down to Grandma and Grandpa Keeley's house. I think this is where they got the most candy, Grandpa kept putting more and more in their buckets, it was really sweet. Grandma got some new items for her dress up collection, the girls thought the umbrella's were very pretty! After that we made our way to Great Grandma Sparks home. It has turned into tradition for our whole family to end up there for yummy doughnuts and drinks. We had a lot of fun this year and the girls are still pointing out houses down our street and telling about the candy they got! Yes I have included a picture of my costume, I was the pillsbury dough girl(because of the big momma belly)!

Trip to Utah

At the beginning of October we decided to go down to Utah to visit Brian's grandparents. We haven't been down since before Cloey was born so it was about time. We had a lot of fun, the girl's having the most fun. I ended up being sick basically the entire time and slept more than I would have liked, and Brian got sick the night before we went home. We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Keeley and Becky. They took very good care of us and the girls absolutely did not want to leave Grandma and Becky. They played and picked apples, and got to feed some bunnies. We got the chance also to visit Grandma and Grandpa Ballard too, and that was a lot of fun the girls loved these two little stuffed animals that were there. It was so nice to be able to visit and let the girls get to know them. Cloey finally warmed up and made Grandpa Ballard's day when she wanted to sit on his lap! It was too sweet. I just want to thank the Keeley's for their hospitality and for taking such good care of us. I wanted to thank Grandma Keeley for teaching me how to crochet hats, it took me a couple of tries but I think I got it down now. Here are some pictures of our trip and my first hat(I made it for Autumn).

Sleepy Heads!

So on Tuesday I stopped at Walmart on my way home from teaching Sarah piano lessons at mom's. I just had to pick up a few things, I don't do grocery trips with both the girls anymore. Cloey doesn't like being confined to a shopping cart, and if she is out of the cart she doesn't like to stay with me. Anyway so on the way from Walmart to our home (which is approximately 3 or 4 minutes with stoplights) I looked in the rearview mirror and both Lily and Cloey were out! So I got home and unloaded whatever I had in the car first and then got Lily out and she walked dazedly into the house while I carried Cloey in. As soon as we got in Lily took her shoes off and put them away and proceeded to lie down on a quilt on the floor. I put Cloey down so she could put her shoes away, she had somewhat woken up by this time, but instead of putting her shoes away she took half a step and then laid on the floor and fell back asleep! I couldn't help but laugh and of course take a picture of my very tired girls. Needless to say I bribed both to stay awake with a My Little Ponies movie we borrowed from the library. It was 6pm and I didn't want them to be awake all night! Just a fun and cute moment!

Matt's Mission Call!

Nighttime image of Atlanta
My brother Matt just got his mission call on Friday, September 19th! He was really excited, he was really hoping it would come this week! He got to the mail and saw the letter from the church and called my mom at work, who flew out the door as soon as he called her. They met at my Grandma Sparks home where he opened it for them. Melisa and I were really not wanting to wait for him to tell the rest of the family today, so we drove over to mom's house to hear him read his call on Friday. And here it is, Matt is going to be serving in the Atlanta, Georgia Mission! He will report to the Missionary Training Center on November 19th, just one day after his 19th birthday! Mom is hoping that Alexis (my stepsister) and I don't go into labor while they are down in Utah, since we are both due around the same time! With my history Matt will probably be able to meet  Autumn before he leaves! It will be really weird to have him gone for 2 years! Mom and Alex will have a nearly empty nest with Sarah being the only one at home! Here are some pictures of Matt and the girls after he told Melisa and I where he was going! And FYI, when Matt gets back from his mission Lily will be in Kindergarden and 5 1/2 years old, Cloey will be 4, and Autumn will be 2 years old! Too crazy!

More of Cloey!

It seems I am posting a lot about Cloey, with her birthday and all. However, I couldn't help posting this too. She crawled into her high chair around 6p.m. or so and just sat there, I think she and Lily were watching a movie. When I looked over at her she was totally out! It was too cute! She had a nice mark on her head when she woke up. The other picture is of Cloey's fingers poking out from under the door. She was supposed to be going to sleep while Lily was going potty before bedtime (YES, Lily is completely potty trained, YAY!). It was too cute to see her fingers under the door!

Hanging out on Cloey's 2nd Birthday!

On Cloey's birthday we decided it would be fun to go to the zoo as a family. Both Lily and Cloey couldn't wait until we could leave for the zoo. At least until we let Cloey open her presents from mom and dad. We got her a trunk that had disney princess dress up clothes. It was a pretty cool little trunk that included 4 different princess outfits and some cute jewelry and head bands. They have so much fun dressing up and playing pretend, and mom and dad get some good laughs at their cute princesses. Nonetheless, it took some convincing to get them back into regular clothes so we could go to the zoo. When we got to the zoo we all had a fun time, the girls love animals and it was great to watch them get so excited with each animal! Their favorite part of the zoo was the merry-go-round, neither of them was that happy when it ended.
There is a rose garden near the zoo that we walked through on the way back to our car. Lily and Cloey love to smell flowers and pick them, so it was tough to keep them from picking the beautiful flowers after they smelled them. We had a very fun day, and we are very grateful to have Cloey in our lives. She brings us such joy and love and hope she enjoyed her birthday!

Cloey's Birthday Parties!

We had two parties for Cloey, one with Brian's family at our house. The other party was a combined party for Sarah (Tammy's Sister), Marley (Cloey's cousin who also turned 2), and of course Cloey! She had a lot of fun at both parties and here are the pictures of all the great times she had!
